Modern TV trends dictate high flexibility level in program broadcasting, in various formats, on a number of languages and for a large number of platforms, with growingly significant reduction of system procurement and maintenance costs. In cooperation with the leading global equipment manufacturers we provide full infrastructure for signal transfer, jointly with processing equipment, network, video and audio matrices, signal converters, multiviewers etc. A particular focus is on signal monitoring, whether subjective control on specialized equipment or systems for control of the entire signal transfer route in all points of transfer chain, and signal recording for compliance purposes but also a deeper analysis of broadcasting and statistics.

Also, distribution and contribution of AV signal via IP links is included with the adequate equipment to ensure maximum signal quality, optimum capacity utilization, error protection, redundancy and low latency.

Since 2009, CS Computer Systems has been deeply engaged in the field of OTT systems, primarily with its proprietary OTT solution AVIION.
It is a system of distribution of multimedia contents, on demand or live, on various client platforms such as smartphones, tablets, set-top-boxes, smart TV sets and computers. AVIION is also designed as a cloud solution i.e. in addition to the independent installation our clients are also provided with the option of use of our hardware infrastructure, drastically reducing the costs of maintenance and speeding up the service launching. Development of OTT system has come out as a natural continuation to IPTV systems by which CS also acquired significant experience, combining partners’ and proprietary technologies. In our offer we thus have various varieties of integration and maintenance of IPTV systems, as well as programs of their transition in the direction of OTT, considering that AVIION as our primary product may also serve as a core for IPTV infrastructure.

The technological advances have created conditions for tapeless camcorders, as an opportunity seized by Panasonic to present P2 camcorder system using semi-conductor memory for storage of records, and recognized by CS as a key step in the evolution of TV and film production.

CS presents an integral portfolio of professional ENG (Electronic News Gathering) and EFP (Electronic Field Production) camcorders, slow motion cameras, small camcorders for event recording and studio chain cameras.

The emphasis is on a detailed integration of the material format and metadata into other production systems used in the work flow, with minimum interventions in the adjustment of contents and maximum preservation of quality.

Also with the advancement of mobile connectivity, cameras have additional potential for integration into the processes based on cloud servers, while camera is still in the field, which significantly saves time and increases efficacy and the time for news publication is drastically shortened.

In addition to cameras and camcorders, CS portfolio includes a great deal of auxiliary equipment of renowned manufacturers.

This is the central point of practically all major productions is the media asset management system and in this area and CS provides solutions for cataloguing and monitoring of materials, weather as self-standing systems or integrated into work flows in a broadcasting or production environment. Such MAM systems are also connected with other solutions from our offer, whether these are systems for archiving, news processing or systems of TV graphics, title generating, etc.

In order to round up the entire program broadcasting process, a high quality solution for program scheduling, time sale and planning of resources needs to be implemented. In the program scheduling sphere, we provide our own solution Flly for fast and practical program broadcasting planning. Flly provides creation and propagation of the broadcasting schedule for an arbitrary number of live channels with the frame accuracy, automated connectivity with contents management systems, support for publicity, secondary events, visual editor, and for publication of information in various forms suitable for broadcast and for publishing in XMLTV format. In additional to independent installations, Flly is offered as a cloud solution which is particularly suitable for smaller organizations.

CS provides systems for professional aggregation, processing and broadcasting of news. Such systems cover all production steps, from automated synchronization of the recent news from agency sources, through the options of their translation, text editing, non-linear processing of related video contents on work posts, all the way to their broadcasting and connecting with graphic systems, video-mixers, teletext, teleprompters and other TV systems. The systems are suitable for newsrooms of all sizes, from small regional TVs and radios, to large production companies with a great number of related newsrooms and live broadcast channels.

In the area of studio production, we also provide systems for integral tapeless studio production processes: ingest of contents whether from a studio or from cards of field ENG cameras, production Asset Management system for project operation, systems for storage, archiving, and collaborative processing of video contents in cloud or locally. Our solutions cover also multicam operations and slow motion camera recordings.

CS Computer Systems has been cooperating for quite some time with Orad, one of the leading global manufacturers of graphic systems for video production. These systems support various types of graphics, from newsrooms and sports to statistics and graphs and CS connects them when needed with other similar production systems such as systems for automatic program broadcasting, newsroom systems and alike. We also provide virtual scene and Augmented Reality systems, with all appertaining equipment, including solutions for tracking several cameras in a single studio, dynamic scene renderers, chromakey studio background, and alike.

Our range of products includes non-linear editing systems. We provide both independent systems and those intended for centralized environment, with the options of collaborative operation and connectivity to central systems for video record storage and advanced options such as edit-in-place, simultaneous multiple editing on the same material on remote locations via internet, etc. Our solutions cover the needs and the budgets of small TVs with limited resources as well as demanding TV and production companies with large traffic of contents and numerous editing staff.

Professional multimedia production is frequently based on file based work flows. CS Computer Systems provides various solutions for acceleration, simplification and automation of such work flows.
